Welcome to the online gallery/archive and official rules of the entries to the annual drawing contest hosted by Sher Khan Karate. Below you will find the names of every student that participates in the contest, along with a link to a scanned copy of their art work. The entries are divided by year, and then by age in their respective year. The age groups are: six and under, seven to thirteen, and adults. After all of the entries have been received, then the staff votes on them by secret ballot (the identity of the artist is not know when the votes are cast), and prizes are awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners for each age group. Every student gets a participation award, and the eternal admiration of their peers as their art work is put on display not only here, but also in the school itself. • Drawing must be submitted on 8.5" x 11" paper (smaller sizes okay, large sizes are not, color optional).
• Drawing must have the artist's name and age on it somewhere, preferably on the back.
• Drawing must be related to the martial arts in some way.
• Drawing must be an original (and personally created) work (tracings and copying of existing works will not be eligible for prizes).
• Drawing must be G to PG-rated in subject matter in order to be eligible for prizes (think Disney's Mulan for acceptable levels of combat, etc.).
• Drawing must be turned in by deadline! No drawing will be eligible for prizes if submitted after the deadline, no exceptions!
• Final deadline for all submissions each year, is December 31st.

• Submit your drawing(s) to the front desk, Mr. Tanaka or any staff member, or you can e-mail them to us, ask Mr. McAdams how. You may also submit your drawing(s) in the drawing collection box on the shoe rack.
• You may submit as many drawings as you like.
• Drawings will be evaluated by staff members, and grouped by age (6 and under, 7-13, 14 and older).
• Prizes* will be awarded after the deadline of December 31st to the artists in each age group, whose drawing has received the most votes from staff members in secret ballot.
